Art & Soul Charity Gala

Published February 14, 2014

The Art & Soul Charity Gala was held on November 7th at the Westin Book Cadillac and raised over $92,000 to help children with special needs continue their therapy during the summer months at no expense to their families.

Highlights from this year’s event included emcee Brandon Roux/WDIV, speed artist Dave Santia, auctioneer Chris Aslanian, Michigan State star athletes Otis Wiley and Anthony Ianni, and dueling Piano Players JD’s Keys. Guests enjoyed an evening of Jameson Whiskey and Atwater Beer tastings, a strolling dinner, and exciting silent and live auctions. Our featured artist was Anthony Collar of Art of Autism. Anthony’s art and designed were featured in this year’s invitations, programs and displays.

It was a wonderful evening and not only helped to raise funds to “keep us going” but raised awareness of what Kids on the Go is doing for children with special needs and their families in our communities.
