Jay Reid, MFA

The love for turning ideas into action is what drew Jay Reid to the world of Entertainment. During the learning process, seeing the proverbial light bulb of understanding arrive over someone’s head makes him proud to be a Teacher. The Eastern Michigan University Alum holds a BS in Education; as well as, a MFA in Film Production from the American Film Institute in Los Angeles, CA. As an actor, he has been cast in “Oz: The Great & Powerful, “Real Steal,” and “Detroit 1-8- 7”; As a Line Producer, his bodies of work have been Official Selections in high-profile film festivals such as Sundance and Tribeca. In his spare time, Jay enjoys: spending time with his wife, reading, movies, sports and trying to stay physically active. This is Jay’s third year with Kids On The Go.
